South Korean steelmaker Posco said its light weight steel products helped reduce the weight of the Renault EOLAB electric-hybrid concept car exhibited at this year’s Paris show.

The EOLAB claims to cover 100km (62 miles) using one litre of petrol, helped in part by the inclusion of light weight technologies. Posco said the car is 400kg lighter than the current Renault Clio, helped by the use of its press forming steel and twinning induced plasticity steel.
