Kenji Naito has been named Nissan Korea’s chief executive from 1 April.
Greg Phillips, who headed the local unit for four years, has been named vice president of Renault Samsung Motors, the company said.
Kenji Naito joined Nissan in 1985, and served in various positions worlwide including in New Zealand, South Africa and Thailand.
Prior to being appointed to Nissan Korea, he was in charge of the automaker’s operations in central and South America, the Korea Herald reported.
