Union workers at Hyundai affiliate Kia Motors resumed an eight-hour partial strike on Tuesday in the third work stoppage this month, after management refused their wage demands.

Reporting the latest walk-out, the local Yonhap news agency noted that the 28,000 union members struck for two days from 3 July, demanding an 8.9% rise in basic salary and a special bonus equivalent to two months’ salary.
