Difficulties negotiating with its labour union may see Hyundai Motor shift production of its buses abroad.
According to Reuters, Hyundai recently failed to ship about 5,600 buses.
Spokesman Jake Jang told the news agency that the failure was a consequence of its labour union refusing to accept a company proposal to introduce a night shift.
Jang was quoted saying: “We are considering starting overseas production to meet demand from abroad, especially from China, Russia and the Middle East.”
