The vehicles are 23,795 units of the Winstorm (Chevrolet Captiva) 2.0 diesel and 3,141 units of the Winstorm Max 2.0 produced between 11 February 2008 and 2 January 2011.

GM is also recalling 5,479 units of the Lacetti Premier 2.0 Diesel (Chevrolet Cruze) produced between 4 November 2008 and 20 July 2010; 104 units of the Lacetti 2.0 Diesel produced between 13 March 2008 and 18 June 2011; and 99 units of the Tosca 2.0 Diesel (Chevrolet Epica) produced between 1 February 2008 and 20 June 2011.
