GM Daewoo Auto & Technology, the third largest car maker in South Korea said on Friday its 2002 sales were 377,237 units, down 17.8% from 459,088 sold a year ago, according to a Reuters report.

Reuters said the GM Korean unit released the figures in a statement without further explanation.

Exports were down 24% in 2002 to 223,703 from 294,352 in 2001 while domestic sales slumped 6.8% to 153,534 from 164,736, a table in the Reuters report showed.
