Bosch is expecting a quarter of its sales to come from Asia by 2015, according to the Korea Herald.

Robert Colm, head of Bosch’s Asia-Pacific region, told the newspaper that China will overtake Japan as the company’s largest market in the region in the next two to three years.

The interview took place as the Bosch symphony orchestra, made up of company employees and their family members, played in a suburb of Seoul on the final stage of a tour of Asia.

Bosch has 251,000 employees globally, and around 2,000 in South Korea.

Bosch also has two joint ventures in South Korea, KEFICO and DPICO.
