General Motors on Wednesday announced it will invest more than $US100 million in its Struandale, South Africa, plant to assemble the Hummer H3 SUV.

Reuters reported the plant will build a global version of the SUV, including right-hand drive versions, for export to markets in Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
