Clutch producer ZF SachsSlovakia, in Trnava, plans to lay off 70 of its 1,350 employees,mainly production workers, from February, according to a local job centre spokeswoman.

Other companies in the region have already announced redundancies. Faurecia said in November it would let 76 employees go.
