PSA is to extend the production halt at its Slovak assembly plant until tomorrow (Tuesday September 20) due to ongoing logistic problems at its French suppliers.
The French carmaker had originally intended a three-day shut down ending last Tuesday but the stoppage has continued for a further week.
Its Slovakian operation, based near the capital Bratislava, said it would give further details about the production outlook on Wednesday.
The factory assembles Peugeot 207 cars as well as the Citroen-brand C3 Picasso model. Last year, it produced about 186,000 vehicles.
