A Slovak government incentive package worth EUR28m for five investment projects includes Kia Motors’ EUR110.5m planned investment.

The government said it would provide EUR15.07m in tax breaks to Kia, which is expected to create 274 new jobs by 2012.

The automaker has said its planned new plant would boost engine production capacity at its Slovak site to 450,000 units a year from the current 300,000, Reuters reported.
