The company plans to expand ABSK’s operations by adding aluminium brake calliper manufacturing for high performance vehicles, which will make the new plant a strategic manufacturing location.

Currently, it makes disc brake pads at its French subsidiary, Akebono Europe. The establishment of the new location in Slovakia is part of a strategy to create an integrated supply system for brakes in Europe while strengthening competitiveness globally.
