Integration of Skoda Connect software and Amazon’s virtual personal assistant works on all devices equipped with Alexa Voice Services and allows owners to interact with their vehicles.

Owners can receive information about numerous aspects of their cars such as fuel level and the average speed of their last journey. They can check such things as lights on or be reminded of vehicle location.
From launch, Alexa can access 12 different parameters relating to the condition and status of a car more functionality is likely to be added later.
To activate, owners need to update their device with a new Alexa Skill called Skoda Connect which allows the device to communicate with a car. Once installed (via an active Amazon account) and linked to the car’s account, the virtual assistant can access real-time information and relay this to the owner on request.
The service is available for Fabia, Rapid, Octavia, Karoq, Superb and Kodiaq models and is made up of three core services; Infotainment Online, Care Connect and Emergency Call.
