Schaeffler says its Automotive Aftermarket Americas president, Eric Steinbecher has been elected to the board of directors of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) for 2020.
Steinbecher is responsible for Schaeffler’s automotive replacement parts business marketed through the supplier’s LuK, Ina, Fag, and Ruville product brands across North and South America.

“Considering the myriad challenges and opportunities facing our industry during this time of extraordinary transformation, I am honoured to join the MEMA board of directors and focus my energies on helping to serve the automotive supplier community.”
Steinbecher is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) – MEMA’s light vehicle aftermarket division.
