These include 3,000 charging points at European locations.

The locations for the pilot projects will be in Germany, in Herzogenaurach and Schweinfurt. Following the successful completion of the test phase, the project will be gradually rolled out in all other regions of the Schaeffler Group

Andreas Schick, Chief Operating Officer of Schaeffler AG, said: “Schaeffler stands for sustainability and is committed to e-mobility. The expansion plan for the Herzogenaurach location allows for the construction of a further 245 charging points for employees, company cars, and visitors in 2025.
