Volkswagen Bank Rus, the Russian subsidiary of Volkswagen Financial Services, has received a banking licence from the Central Bank of Russia (CBR), the automaker said.

The charter capital of the subsidiary was RUB880m according to earlier reports.
The central bank registered the subsidiary in July.
