The net profit of Russian car producer UAZ rose to RUB985.596m in 2012 from 467m rubles in 2011 according to Russian Accounting Standards, the company said.

Revenue grew to RUB27.931bn from RUB16.8bn.

Sales profit shrank 8.25% to RUB1.288bn while pre-tax profit grew 29.39% to RUB1.199bn, Prime News reported.
