Toyota sales in Russia were up 49.2% year on year to 49,117 cars in January-September, its local subsidiary told Prime-Tass.
45,418 Toyota cars and 3,699 Lexus models were sold in the nine months while the best-sellers were the Corolla, with 16,983 cars sold, and the Camry (9,914).
Toyota’s sales in Russia almost doubled to 47,426 cars in 2004 from 26,472 the previous year.
