Russian automaker Sollers is looking to increase engine output by 17% during 2010.
Media speculation in Russia suggested revenue at the plant would rise 15% this year to RUB6.6bn.
Investments are also expected to increase up to threefold from last year’s level of RUB220m.
Sollers – earlier known as Severstal Auto – also plans to start production of the ZMZ-405 engine for Fiat Ducato vehicles in 2011, according to the reports.
Established in 2002, Sollers controls the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ), the Zavolzhsky Engine Plant (ZMZ), Sollers-Yelabuga, and Sollers Naberezhniye Chelny.
