Skoda Auto sold 3,271 cars in Russia in January-June through its official dealers, up 42.1% on the year, a company official told the Prime-Tass news agency on Friday.

The most popular Skoda models in Russia in the period were the Fabia and the Octavia, with 1,145 and 369 cars sold, respectively, the official said.


In Russia Skoda Auto also sells the Superb sedan line.


Skoda Auto sold 5,428 cars in Russia in 2004 through its official dealers, down 18.7% year on year, Prime-Tass noted.
