Media reports in Russia indicate PSA Peugeot Citroen will start production at its Russian plant in Kaluga on 23 April.

Peugeot Russia CEO François Poirier is quoted in Moscow press as saying the Kaluga site had been in a trial status since March 9.

PSA constructed the factory with the aid of Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi. Plant investment is thought to be EUR470m (US$630m). Capacity is believed to be in the region of around 100,000 cars annually.
