Russia’s largest truck maker Kamaz will switch to a five day work week in March and April, up from its current four-day operation due to increased orders, the company said.

At the end of last year Kamaz said it would keep a four day work week until March 2013 in order to optimise the plant’s activities and reduce stocks. The company plans to make over 4,500 assembled kits in March and a total of 45,000 units this year.
