Nissan sales in Russia rose to 93,269 cars in January-October from 59,300 cars a year ago.


In October, Nissan’s sales in Russia were 11,437 cars, up from 8,749 in October 2006, Prime-Tass reported. The most popular models in October were the Almera Classic (2,495 ), Qashqai (1,898) and Tiida (1,759).


In addition, Nissan sold 530 Infiniti vehicles in October and 4,319 in January-October. Sales of the Infiniti were officially launched in Russia in October 2006, the news agency said.


In 2006, Nissan sold 75,514 cars in Russia, Prime-Tass added.
