Nissan Motor will launch a new car model in Russia, an upmarket version of alliance partner Renault’s Logan sedan.
The Dow Jones report, citing La Tribune, attributed the source as Nissan’s top executive in Russia, Francois Goupil de Bouille.
The company plans to assemble 70,000 of the new car a year, the report said, with sales starting late in 2012.
