Sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 10% in September, according to data released by the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC).
This year’s cumulative total to the end of September stands at almost 2.2m units, 14% up on the same period of last year.
Joerg Schreiber, Chairman of the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee commented: “The hot phase of fast year-on-year growth in Russia is over, for now. On the backdrop of the situation in the rest of Europe however, a 10% increase in sales is a very respectable result.”
