Sales of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in Russia rose 29% year on the year to 37,290 units in July–September, the automobile manufacturers committee at the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said.

Medium trucks sales soared to 2,357 units in July–September from 763 units in the same period of last year, while sales of heavy trucks increased to 2,302 units from 814 units, and sales of buses were up 26% to 78 units, the committee told Prime-Tass.

The AEB said earlier that sales of passenger cars and LCVs in Russia rose 18% to 1.321m units in January–September.
