According to a Prime-TASS news agency report, Russia’s largest truck producer Kamaz has signed charter documents with Federal Mogul Corporation to set up a joint venture to produce automotive components in the Russian Federation Republic of Tatarstan.
The report cited the Russian Federation republic’s government as source.
The size of the charter capital and each company’s stake the joint venture were not disclosed.
The joint venture, called Federal Mogul Naberezhnye Chelny, will be located at Kamaz’s production facilities and is planned to start production in September.
It will start producing auto parts meeting Euro-3 and Euro-4 environmental standards and will initially cater to Kamaz’s needs for auto components.
