Durr Systems has signed a two-year agreement to lease a paint shop to Russia’s largest heavy truck manufacturer Kamaz for more than EUR10m, Kamaz said on Monday.
Kamaz is expected to sell 34,000 trucks this year, up from 32,200 in 2005, Prime-Tass noted. Of the total, Kamaz plans to sell 25,500 trucks on the domestic market, and export 8,500 trucks, thus increasing its exports from to 40% of its total sales from 33%, according to earlier reports.
Kamaz, based in the constituent republic of Tatarstan, is part of Russia’s Kamaz group, which also includes the Neftekamsk auto plant, located in the constituent republic of Bashkortostan, and Avtopritsep-Kamaz, based in Stavropol.
