Russian reports say IzhAvto manufactured 30,800 vehicles in the period January-July, with some 8,733 produced last month.

The Russian manufacturer stopped business in May 2009 after bankruptcy but restarted in August last year. A report said the company aims to make up to 126,000 vehicles this year.

Last week the president of Udmurtia, in which IzhAvto is based, Alexander Volkov, said the company would enter into ownership by AvtoVAZ.
