General Motors (GM) plans to increase its car sales in Russia to over 300,000 units in 2008, Jacek Gorski, the general director of General Motors CIS, has said.
GM sold 258,835 cars in Russia in 2007, up from 130,000 in 2006.
In January-February, GM sold over 50,000 cars in Russia, Gorski told Prime-Tass.
In Russia, GM sells Opel, Saab, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Hummer models.
