Car tyre output in Russia rose 3.2% year on year to 22.7 million units in January-November, the Federal State Statistics Service reported, according to Prime-Tass.


Truck tyre output increased 0.2% year on year to 10.573 million units in January-November, while the output of tyres for agricultural vehicles was up 1.8% to 1.625 million units in the period.


In 2003, Russia’s output of car tyres increased 9.5% year on year to 24.3 million units. The output of truck tyres was 11.7 million units, and agricultural tires 1.7 million units, the news agency said.
