Russia’s European Bearing Corporation (EBC) has become an official supplier to DaimlerChrysler, the corporation’s press office said.

DaimlerChrysler approved EBC’s Volzhsky plant as a supplier of bearings for trucks after a series of negotiations and due diligence, a Prime-Tass report said.
Founded in 2000, European Bearing Corporation has several bearing plants in Russia and one in Kazakhstan with a combined annual rated capacity of 52m bearings. The corporation claims 37% of the Russian market for bearings.
EBC’s made a net profit of $US30.9m on revenue of $250m in 2005, Prime-Tass said.
