Russia’s largest car manufacturer, AvtoVAZ, has proposed abolishing the customs duty on imports of tyres used for industrial assembly, the Economic Development Ministry said, citing the company’s application.

AvtoVAZ has also proposed retaining the customs duty on imports of other tyres at 20% of the custom value, but not less than EUR6.90 per tyre, the ministry told Prime-Tass.
