Passenger car sales were up 0.9% to almost 35,900 units, romania-insider.com reported. Imports of used cars rose 25.1% and four used cars were sold for every new one.
May car sales dropped 20.8% but sales increased in the first four months of the year, so the year to date tally was still positive.
