Renault unit Dacia will begin to launch its new Sandero five-door hatchback, built in Pitesti, Romania, in most European markets from next June.
Sales will start in Turkey and neighbouring regions. The Logan derivative on the B0 platform is already built and sold in South America.
European versions will have 1.4-litre 75hp and 1.6-litre petrol engines and a 1.5-litre diesel in 70hp and 85hp tunes.
Options will include Bosch 8.1 ABS with electronic brake force distribution and, for the first time in the Dacia range, emergency brake assist.
The Sandero will have a three year/100,000km (60,000-mile) warranty in most European markets.
