Porsche has unveiled three new additions to its 2025 Taycan electric sedan lineup, including an entry-level all-wheel drive (AWD) variant and a more powerful GTS version.

The German automaker has introduced the Taycan GTS, GTS Sport Turismo, and a more affordable Taycan 4 with all-wheel drive, expanding the Taycan lineup to 13 variants in the US and 16 globally.

The Taycan lineup now offers three body variants, all-wheel or rear-wheel drive, and Porsche E-Performance motors with power outputs ranging from 300 to 760kW.

These models are currently available for order and will hit dealerships in early 2025.

The highlight of the new lineup is the Taycan GTS, which claims to boast more potent drivetrain. It can deliver up to 515kW with overboost, marking a substantial increase from its predecessor.

Porsche claims the GTS can reach 62mph in 3.3 seconds, and its range has been extended by 75 miles, with a tested range of 390 miles under WLTP criteria.

Porsche has also introduced a distinctive sound profile for the GTS, aligning with its high-performance image.

The vehicle comes with 20-inch Turbo S Aero Design wheels as standard, with the option to upgrade to 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels.

The GTS Sport Turismo, a wagon variant, shares the same performance enhancements and aesthetic details, including glossy black aprons, the company said.

The new Taycan 4 sedan offers a balance of performance and efficiency, with a power output of 429HP using Launch Control and a 0-62mph time of under 4.4 seconds.

It features two battery pack options and can achieve up to 400 miles in range. The Taycan 4 is designed to alternate between rear-wheel drive and AWD for optimal traction.

The Taycan 4’s dual-motor setup improves traction and stability, achieving a 0 to 100km/h sprint in 4.6 seconds.

Standard features for the Taycan 4 include 19-inch aero wheels, matrix LED headlights, and Porsche traction management with adaptive air suspension.
