Porsche delivered 18,699 new cars worldwide last month, an increase of 18% year on year. Year to date sales rose 27% to a record 191,784 units in the first 10 months of the year. The full year 2014 tally was 189,849.
The Macan is now the brand's top seller, at nearly 70,000 units by the end of October, followed by the Cayenne with some 60,000 vehicles were handed over to customers – 12% more than in the same period of 2014.
The strongest single market in October was China, where Porsche sold 4,950 vehicles (+44%). Close behind was the US (4,070 vehicles, +11%). The European market grew by 11% (6,691 units). The main contributor was Germany with 2,644 units (+10%).
