The Polish News Bulletin reports that Intrall, the Russian-British van manufacturer with production facilities in Lublin, is preparing to invest in new production lines.
Intrall wants to replace the Lublin and Honker van models that it inherited from Daewoo Motor Poland with newer ones.
“We plan to spend up to ZL60 million in 2006-2007 on equipment that will be used to produce new vehicles. The funding will come from the company’s own funds and those of its owners, as well as from investment loans,” said Intrall Polska Deputy Chairman Piotr Mazur.
The Lublin’s successor is to be publicly showcased at this year’s utility vehicle expo held in September in Hannover.
“It will be a new design, different from the current Lublin. Production will start next year. We want to enter European markets with it,” says Mazur.
