Poland’s car market declined by 3.2% year-on-year in May to 25,328 units according to the Samar Institute.
In the first five months of the year car dealers in Poland sold 142,300 new cars, a 0.6% gain on the same period last year.
The data also shows that between January and May customers from Germany, Slovakia and other EU member states purchased over 20,000 cars in Poland.
Skoda leads the car market and in the first five months of the year sold 16,093 vehicles, 12.4% ahead of last year.
Fiat has sold 15,001 cars in Poland this year – 15% ahead of its sales last year.
