Startup supporter and investor Plug and Play said it would establish an innovation hub at the MIRA Technology Park in central England.
The hub is claimed to be the first in the UK focused on mobility innovation.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, Plug and Play claims to be the world's largest innovation platform.
It specialises in corporate innovation and the development of early to growth stage technology startups, introducing them to investors and global companies.
This is its first move into the UK.
MIRA Technology Park has extensive R&D facilities and engineering expertise to help startup growth. The new partnership, supported by government bodies such as Zenzic, will enable OEMs and Tier 1s to speed innovation while supporting startups to prove concepts and commercialise innovation.
