Plastic Omnium has reorganised its senior leadership structure with Laurent Favre becoming CEO, while Felicie Burelle is appointed managing director from 1 January, 2020.
Current CEO, Laurent Burelle will become chairman of the Group.
Jean-Michel Szczerba becomes adviser to the chairman, leaving his role as co-CEO. “It is with belief and pride in what I have accomplished that, after 34 years with the Group, I am handing over to a new team that will be responsible for moving Plastic Omnium forward into the future,” said Szczerba.
Favre holds an engineering degree from ESTACA (Ecole Superieure des Techniques Aeronautiques et de Construction Automobile) and has spent his career in the automotive industry in Germany.
He has held various responsibilities with German automotive parts manufacturers, including ThyssenKrupp (steering systems), ZF (transmissions and steering columns) and Benteler (structural parts), where he was CEO of the automotive division.
After her first job with Plastic Omnium in Spain, Burelle spent five years in Mergers and Acquisitions at Ernst and Young.
