Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has opened its first new showroom in Pakistan.


The super luxury cars will be exclusively represented in Lahore by Dewan Motors and more showrooms are planned for Karachi and the capital, Islamabad.


Dewan Motors president and chief operating officer Farooq Mustafa said, “We are honoured to be representing the world’s ultimate automotive brand. We successfully open for business with our first customer order for a Phantom, taken a few weeks ago. The presence of Rolls-Royce in Pakistan is symbolic of the rapid growth taking place in the country”.


Rolls-Royce Motor Cars managing director for Europe and the Middle East, Axel Obermüller added: “We are delighted to be working with Dewan Motors, one of the most respected and experienced corporations in Pakistan. We have seen a significant increase in demand for luxury cars in Pakistan and this is an important step in our business development in the region”.


Rolls-Royce claims the Phantom is still the best selling super luxury car in the world (it’s key rival is DaimlerChrysler’s Maybach line) and noted that; in 2005, the highest number of Rolls-Royces were sold in the Middle Eastern region for 25 years.
