General Motors’ Pakistan joint venture local partner, Nexus Automotive, will begin assembly of the GM-Daewoo-designed and made Chevrolet Exclusive (Matiz 800cc and 1000 cc) in a first phase from November.

This will be followed in a second phase by assembly of the Optra (1600cc).

The vehicles will initially be assembled at the Ghandhara Nissan plant situated at Port Qasim (30 km from Karachi) until GM Nexus set up its own facility in about two years.
