Osram has appointed Kathrin Dahnke as a member of the management board, responsible for finance.
Dahnke was most recently a member of the management board of the Neuss-based conglomerate, Werhahn, which operates in building materials, consumer goods and financial services.
“Kathrin Dahnke has extensive experience with medium-sized as well as listed companies in transformation,” said Osram chairman, Peter Bauer.
“She has gained great recognition in the industry as a versatile and crisis-tested financial manager and supervisory board member.”
Dahnke succeeds Ingo Bank, who will move to Ams as CFO on 1 May. In her career to date, the business graduate has worked in various industries, including Beiersdorf, Westdeutsche Landesbank and the former Gildemeister, with a focus on the financial sector.
She was also a member of the supervisory boards of Fraport, B. Braun SE and Knorr-Bremse.
