The FindAdBlue partners are Audi, Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Shell and Volkswagen. AdBlue is a vital ingredient in SCR technology  – applied to most Euro 6 compliant diesel engines – that can help counter the suggestion that the latest diesel engines produce vast quantities of harmful emissions.

AdBlue is a fluid that works with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) on the latest diesel engines to reduce NOx emissions. There is a separate AdBlue tank for diesel drivers that needs to be filled up from time to time.

AdBlue is a solution of water and urea. SCR technology involves the injection of small quantities of this liquid into the flow of exhaust gases. When the Adblue urea and water solution combines with exhaust emissions, it produces nitrogen and oxygen by breaking down mono-nitrogen oxides.
