NXP Semiconductors has nominated Kurt Sievers to be appointed president and CEO, succeeding Richard Clemmer, who has led the company since 2009.
Since September, 2018 Sievers has been president of NXP, with direct oversight and management of all business lines.
Sievers joined NXP in 1995 and moved through a series of Marketing & Sales, Product Definition & Development, Strategy and General Management leadership positions across a broad number of market segments.
“The opportunity that lies ahead for NXP is significant and the ability to lead the organisation into its next chapter is humbling and exciting,” said Siever.
