Novares has opened its third production plant in Chihuahua, taking its Mexican factory total to five – the others are in Puebla and Silao.
The new plant was established to expand current business with Ford and further develop supplies to new customer BMW.

The first Chihuahua plant was established in 1994, the second in 1997, and both specialise in plastic components such as radio bezels and HAVC controls.
Puebla opened in 2003 and specialises in injection moulding, parts for vehicle exteriors, interiors and the engine and Silao opened in 2016 making injection moulded engine parts.
The third Chihuahua plant has 276 workers in a 7,900 square metre building and annual turnover is estimated at US$23.5m.
Novares has now spent $15.6m at this key site. The third plant cost $2.6m for building renovations and $13m was spent on new equipment and machinery including 25 new Engel injection moulding machines.
