Nokian Tyres has appointed Timo Tervolin as VP president, Strategy and Corporate Development and a member of Nokian Tyres management team.
His responsibilities will include leading the company’s strategy process, programmes and mergers and acquisitions, as well as monitoring markets and competition.
Tervolin is currently working for Ingram Micro, a global technology distributor based in Irvine, California, leading the mergers and acquisitions team.
Prior to his former position at Nokia, Tervolin also worked as management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.
Tervolin will join Nokian on 6 June and will report to the president and CEO.
“Timo has strong international experience in the field of strategic leadership, mergers and acquisitions and business development,” said Nokian president and CEO, Ari Lehtoranta.
