NewMotion is expanding its collaboration with BMW Group to Austria and Italy.

When buying an electric BMW or Mini, customers can now purchase a smart charge point from NewMotion and use its services from advice and installation, to customer support and after care.

The offer is also valid for existing BMW and Mini customers.

“We are delighted BMW Group has chosen NewMotion as its charging partner for charging solutions for their customers and dealerships,” said NewMotion regional manager, Klaus Schmidt-Dannert.

“Our smart charge points and additional services will help EV drivers to have a seamless switch to e-mobility and further drives the energy transition.”

Austrian and Italian BMW Group customers are offered home and business charging solutions. All charge points can be combined with NewMotion services: advice and installation, as well as customer support. NewMotion charge points are cloud-connected and provide services, for example remote start-and-stop of a charging session via the app.

Also, real-time insights into charging behaviour and expenses help drivers to manage and reduce costs of owning an EV.

NewMotion has been part of the Shell group since 2017.
