Zeekr Intelligent Technology, the premium battery electric vehicle (BEV) unit of China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, this week strengthened its model lineup with the launch of the Zeekr Mix—a compact MPV aimed at middle-income households.
The “family-oriented” MPV is built on the company’s SEA-M architecture and features an 800-volt electrical system. It offers two battery options: a 76 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack providing a range of 550 km and a 102 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) pack offering a range of over 700 km. The LFP batteries have a 5.5C charging system, enabling them to be charged from 10% to 80% in just over 10 minutes.
Zeekr claims the Mix has a spacious “welcoming” interior designed to provide family home comforts, thanks to the vehicle’s 3,008 mm wheelbase, an overall length of 4,688 mm and an in-cabin height of 1,350 mm. The Mix features double sliding doors, hidden B-pillars, front-row seats that can swivel 270 degrees, and a moveable central console to create extra space, giving the cabin a lounge-like layout.
The Mix was launched in the Chinese market this week with a starting price of CNY 279,900 (US$39,420), competing directly with the Li Auto Li Mega and XPeng’s X9.
